A community's water and power use extends from individual Units to shared infrastructure. A reading without its meter, time period or scope can be misleading. Teams need to distinguish observed consumption from estimates, proposed insights and any separate billing decision.

Estalink's smart-metering direction is designed to connect approved meter integrations with utility history, trends and Estate-wide visibility. Water and electricity have distinct operational questions, so they should not be collapsed into one generic sensor card.

The proposed relationship is Meter to Utility Data to Estate Intelligence to Advisory Insight to a Human / Operational Next Step. Integration availability, data quality, unit mapping and authorized visibility would need to be established for each deployment. The illustrations show no live readings, account identifiers or working control functions.

Water

The water direction covers unit/household consumption and common-area water, with meter integration, usage history and trends. Abnormal-use insight and leak/waste insight could help authorized teams decide where to investigate; they would not certify a leak from a single reading. Estate-wide utility visibility would preserve scope, and a billing connection would require its own approved financial implementation. Pump operation and water distribution remain physical responsibilities, not actions performed by the website or advisory layer.

Electricity

The electricity direction covers unit consumption and common-area power, energy history, usage trends and operational consumption insight. Deployment-dependent meter integrations could provide grid/generator visibility, with prepaid/postpaid integration direction where applicable. A billing connection would remain distinct from measured usage and would need governed validation. The platform does not currently control meters, disconnect supply or autonomously charge a household.

    Start with an approved source and a verified relationship to the Unit or shared facility. A deployment must explain what is measured and what remains outside the observation.

  2. Utility Data

    Preserve the measurement period, units, freshness and quality. Historical trends should not conceal gaps or mix common-area use with a household's consumption.

  3. Estate Intelligence / Advisory Insight

    Future advisory context could surface patterns or abnormal-use questions. It should support investigation, not assert an unverified leak, fault or obligation to pay.

  4. Human / Operational Next Step

    An authorized person reviews the evidence and decides whether service follow-up or another governed action is appropriate. No autonomous disconnection, billing or enforcement follows.
